If you wish,
light a candle.
Mary trusted the voice of God
and His angels
where others did not.
She listened
with a discernment given by grace.
She chose.
She carried hope
into the dark.
May this small flame
hold gentleness,
trust,
and simple peace.
Remain as long as you like.
When you go,
take the light with you.
